In 2022 we launched Vetlife Day to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Vetlife Helpline. To help support our charity, we’re asking the veterinary community to dedicate one day a year as their Vetlife Day, team up, have fun and fundraise for Vetlife.

How to hold a Vetlife Day

  1. Choose your date

There is no set date for Vetlife Day, so you can choose a day and time that works for you.

  1. Pick your Vetlife Day activity

In the past, Vetlife Days have included daredevil activities such as skydiving and taking on the UK’s highest abseil, however if you’re looking for something less adrenaline fuelled, bake sales, fetes, quizzes, and sponsored dog walks have all worked well to raise money and have fun. Don’t worry if you’re struggling for ideas, we’ve got plenty! Our digital fundraising pack is filled with inspiration to get you started. Let us know about your Vetlife Day plans by getting in touch at [email protected].

  1. Pay in your fundraising money

After you’ve enjoyed getting together and fundraising for Vetlife, all that’s left is to pay in your hard-earned money. If you’ve fundraised for us online through JustGiving all the money is automatically sent to us.

If you collected donations, you could send us a cheque by post, made payable to ‘Vetlife’, along with the paying-in form enclosed in your pack. Send it to Vetlife, (7 Mansfield Street, London, W1G 9NQ). If you used the sponsorship form, please send us this too. Or pay in online here.

Take part in an organised Vetlife Day

Each year, we host our own organised Vetlife Day and encourage teams and individuals from the veterinary community to join us. In 2022 we climbed the o2 arena, and in June 2023 we abseiled down the ArcelorMittal Orbit. We don’t yet have details for our next exciting Vetlife Day, but you can subscribe to our newsletter to be the first to hear more.
