- National Mediation Helpline
It may be worth considering using the National Mediation Helpline (NMH) on 0845 60 30 809 a public service which will provide advice on using mediation to solve problems such as personal injury, small claims, and business and consumer disputes.
Callers will be referred to a mediation provider, who will arrange an appointment with a trained, independent expert. By discussing issues with both sides, the mediator will help them reach a settlement without the cost and complications of litigation.
Results of the process could include compensation, a refund or replacement of goods, an apology or explanation - or a change in policy.
